Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) includes all transportation services provided to patients NOT in an emergency situation or in need of an ambulance. NEMT is most often utilized by eligible Medicaid and Medicare members requesting a ride to their medical appointment. Non-medical transportation can be utilized to attend doctor’s appointments, complete errands, and more.
